Explore the Heart of Cranberry Country
The Tomah area is cranberry country, and the festival kicks off the harvest season. The cranberry marshes are full of brilliant red berries, which create amazing views and must-take photo opportunities. One of the fest’s popular attractions is the self-guided walking marsh tour. The tour offers visitors the opportunity to learn how cranberries are grown, harvested, and processed. Offering visitors an opportunity to experience Wisconsin’s rich agricultural heritage firsthand.
Shop Over a Thousand Vendors
Those who love to shop until they drop are in luck, as the festival features 800 arts, crafts, and specialty vendors lining the streets. Beyond the arts and crafts vendors, you will also find hundreds of booths for the flea market, the farmers market, and food vendors. Visitors can browse everything from handmade jewelry and home decor to seasonal gifts and unique Wisconsin-made goodies. There are, of course, cranberry-themed items from cranberry jams and drinks to dried cranberries and baked goods. You can even stop by the Pancake Breakfast, serving cranberry syrup.
Enjoy Delicious Festival Food
No fest experience would truly be complete without great food, and Warrens Cranberry Festival will certainly knock your socks off. Food vendors offer a wide range of options, from classic fair favorites to local specialties. With snacks, desserts, and dinners, visitors can try everything from fresh cheese curds and roasted nuts to homemade pies, barbecue, burgers, and, of course, cranberry-inspired dishes. Ever tried cranberry coffee? Or cranberry cheese puffs? Maybe the giant frying pan full of cranberry jubilee will catch your eye. You definitely won’t leave hungry.
Family-Friendly Fun
Bring the whole family to enjoy the weekend at the Cranberry Fest. (There is so much to see, one day may not do it justice!) Live music performances, parades, demonstrations, contests, and children’s activities will take place throughout the weekend. Kids will enjoy hunting the marsh for the Biggest Berry competition. And maybe get the whole family to dress up in something unique and fun to try and win the Be Our Guest competition. And who knows, you might be the one to find this year’s Marsh Medallion to win the prize.
Discover More Than the Festival
The festival might be the main attraction, but the surrounding area also offers even more opportunities to explore. Visitors can enjoy scenic drives through cranberry country, visit local stores and markets, and discover the nearby parks and outdoor recreation areas.
Many visitors return each year to experience all that the Tomah area offers or to reconnect with friends and family. You can find lodging for your next Cranberry Festival weekend in Tomah, just eight miles from the fest.
