Experience the peaceful charm of Amish Country with this scenic self-guided driving tour just south of Tomah. Travel quiet country roads and take in the simple beauty of the landscape while catching a glimpse of a traditional way of life.

The tour can be enjoyed anytime, but fall is especially stunning as the countryside comes alive with vibrant autumn colors. The route takes about one hour to complete; however, you may want to allow extra time to stop and explore Amish-owned shops featuring handmade goods, fresh baked items, furniture, and more.

Cranberry Country Self-Guided Driving Tour

Experience the beauty of Cranberry Country at your own pace with this scenic self-guided driving tour. While the route is open year-round, the most spectacular time to visit is during harvest season—from mid-September through October—when the marshes come alive with vibrant color and activity. Early summer offers its own charm as well, with delicate cranberry blooms typically appearing from late June to early July.

The tour covers approximately 22.5 miles and takes about an hour to complete, making it a perfect addition to your day. Along the way, you’ll enjoy picturesque views and learn more about the area’s rich cranberry heritage.
