Public History Program: History & Memories of the Tomah-Sparta Speedway

Public History Program: “Hey Race Fans! History & Memories of the Tomah – Sparta Speedway”, held on Thursday, April 16th at 7pm.

From 1964 to the present, join Greg Oliver and Local History Room Director Jarrod Roll for a ride down memory lane as they share the history and multi-generational impact of short track racing at the Tomah-Sparta Speedway.

Please note that to provide more seating space, this program will not be held at the Local History Room but nearby at the Sparta United Methodist Church, 210 N. Court St.  Parking available in Museum/Monroe County Parking Lot off Central Ave.  Free admission but a $1 donation to offset programming costs is always appreciated.  For more information visit facebook.com/mclhr or call 608-269-8680.
