Monroe County Fair
County Fair is a five day farm, animal, and fair extravaganza held at the Tomah Recreation Park-Fairgrounds during July. The event is an exciting gathering of local farmers, crafters, vendors, and performers coming together to showcase their talents and offerings, and it is the perfect summer event for all ages. Visitors to the Monroe County Fair can expect to see a range of exhibits such as agricultural displays, livestock shows, vendors, and rodeos. Some popular events include the Butterfly Encounter and the Antique Tractor Show. And the fair wouldn’t be complete without carnival rides, games, live musical performances, and food stands.
Budweiser Dairyland Super National Truck and Tractor Pull
One of Tomah’s most popular events, the Budweiser Dairyland Super National Truck and Tractor Pull, draws over 60,000 fans each summer. This premier competition on the NTPA Championship Pulling Circuit features top pullers from the U.S. and Canada competing for Super National titles. Spectators can enjoy thrilling competitions on two tracks, browse a flea market and craft show, and indulge in food and drinks from dozens of vendors.
Tomah Regional High School Rodeo
Another annual event that showcases Tomah’s traditions and community and makes for a few days of entertainment is the Annual Regional Junior High School Spring Rodeo. Typically hosted in the springtime, visitors can take advantage of the amazing opportunity to watch rodeo athletes and their equine animals partake in a variety of activities and events. Some of the events include barrel racing, breakaway roping, bull riding, team roping, goat tying, and more. Plus, there are shooting events hosted by the Tomah Warrens Sportsman’s Alliance.
Rotary’s Annual Rally for the Record
The Tomah Rotary Club sponsors another annual event in Tomah, the Annual Rally for the Record. This fall event brings ATV and UTV enthusiasts together for a weekend of responsible ATV/UTV riding and raising money to support the community efforts of the Tomah Rotary Club. Event participants can spend the weekend exploring miles of city and country roads and can take advantage of camping spots nearby for two days of fun. Other activities include a mud run, prime rib steak dinner, marsh tour group ride, guided night tours, poker run, beer garden with live music, and more.
