Looking for a great burger in a relaxed environment, check out the Crow Bar! Murray’s on Main is a friend of the gluten free diner offering many options for specific dietary needs. And there are of course fast food options for visitors who are looking to eat on the go.

Farmer’s Market

A final place to check out in downtown Tomah is the Tomah Farmers Market in Gillett Park. The market is held on Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm between the first week in May to the last week in October. In the summer months, live music is featured on select Wednesday evenings following the market. Local vendors show out in the park with their homemade or homegrown goods, including vegetables, fruits, plants, jellies/jams, canned fruits/vegetables, pies, and breads. Other purchasable goods include cut flowers, herbs, spices, crafts, jewelry, and so much more! The Farmers Market is a great place to meet more of the Tomah community and purchase some great local produce and goods.

Area Community Theater

Another cherished local place in downtown Tomah is the Area Community Theater. Since 1976, the ACT Theater has a mission of promoting, encouraging, and increasing the community’s knowledge, appreciation for, and participation in the Arts. The theater brings together culture and community in Tomah and is one of the best spaces to see the Arts in action in Tomah. Visitors can check the schedule for shows throughout the year, and purchase tickets for shows during their visit.
